- Tennis players will enjoy Saint-Jacques des Blats for its quick-start court or in Vic sur Cère where the sports park features 5 clay courts as well as 2 swimming pools and a full range of children's facilities.
- There are two golf courses in the area. The closest one is in Vézac (45 minutes away) near the Château Hôtel de Sales and the other is the superb Haute Auvergne course beyond Aurillac at about an hour's drive.
- Water activities on the Ryberès lake a half-hour from Aurillac.
- Horseback riding in Vic-sur-Cère, Polminhac and Arpajon (near Aurillac)
- Mini-golf in Saint-Jacques des Blats and Vic-sur-Cère
- A rope park for swinging tree to tree in the Jordanne valley, a half-hour away on a lovely mountain road
- Numerous hiking trails throughout the Parc des Volcans
- Mountain climbing: Plomb du Cantal (by foot or chairlift), Puy Griou, and Puy Mary to mention just the main ones.
